Sales, Shipping & License Policy

The short version. All sales are final: no refunds, returns, exchanges or cancellations. If a book arrives damaged or misprinted, we replace it free within 30 days. Digital products are licensed to one person for personal use and are never refundable.

 

1. Prices and orders

Every STACKED LEGAL guide is priced at US $19.99 in paperback and eBook unless a product page states otherwise. Template packs, toolkits and other add-ons are priced as shown on their pages. Prices exclude sales tax and shipping, which are calculated at checkout. An order is accepted when we send an order confirmation. We may cancel any order before shipment for a pricing or listing error, suspected fraud, licensing abuse or unavailability, and will refund any amount charged for a canceled order. Because paperbacks are printed to order, an order cannot be changed or canceled once it has been sent to print, which normally happens within hours of purchase.

 

2. Printing and shipping

Paperbacks sold on the Site are printed on demand and shipped by our print partner. Typical production time is 3 to 5 business days plus transit. Estimated delivery dates are estimates, not promises, and are not guaranteed. Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier accepts the package. You are responsible for giving a complete, correct shipping address; we cannot replace or refund orders shipped to an address you entered incorrectly, returned as undeliverable, or lost after a carrier records delivery. Ship-to locations may be limited to the United States. Customs duties, if any, are your responsibility.

 

3. All sales are final. No refunds, returns, exchanges or cancellations.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, all sales of printed books, eBooks, template packs, toolkits, courses and every other product are final. We do not offer refunds, returns, exchanges, cancellations, credits or price adjustments for any reason, including that you changed your mind, bought the wrong state or title, did not read the description, found the content unsuitable for your situation, or obtained a different outcome than you hoped for.

 

The one exception is the free replacement described in Section 4. This policy does not limit any right you have under law that cannot be waived.

 

4. Damaged or misprinted books: free replacement

If a paperback arrives physically damaged, misprinted, missing pages, or bound incorrectly, we will replace it at no cost. To request a replacement, email info@stackedlegal.com within 30 days of the delivery date with your order number and clear photos showing the problem. We may ask you to return the defective copy using a prepaid label we provide. Replacement is our only remedy for a defective book; we do not issue refunds in place of a replacement. Ordinary wear, marks you made, and damage after delivery are not covered.

 

5. Digital products: single-user license, no refunds

eBooks, template packs, bonus toolkits, checklists, courses and any other digital product are licensed, not sold, to the individual purchaser for that person's own personal, non-commercial use, on the terms in Section 4 of our Terms of Use. Because a digital product is delivered instantly and cannot be returned, all digital sales are final and non-refundable once the download or access link has been issued, whether or not you opened it. You may not share, resell, transfer, post or redistribute a digital product, use it for anyone else's matter, or use it commercially. Access links and download limits may be enforced, and a license may be revoked for violation of the Terms without refund. If a file will not open, contact us and we will provide a working copy of the same file.

 

6. eBooks bought from retailers

eBooks are sold through retailers such as Google Play Books and Amazon. Your purchase, delivery, and any refund or return is governed by that retailer's policies, not ours, and requests must be made to the retailer. Registering a retailer-bought book with us gives you the bonus toolkit under the same single-user license.

 

7. Chargebacks and abuse

If you dispute a charge with your bank instead of contacting us, we will provide the bank with your order, delivery and download records. A chargeback filed against a product you received or accessed is a breach of these terms, and we may revoke your license, refuse future orders, and recover the amount and our costs where the law allows.
